Halloween Party
(Morrigan's in Yotsuya)
SOPHIA alpha, with the help of CIEE, were able to have a fun Halloween part on Oct. 30th @ Morrigan's. We had self-introductions, a costume contest, fun games to play together, ect...

We wish to keep the great relationship with CIEE and will continue creating opportunities for more interactions between Exchange & Degree students in Sophia University.
Having fun~~~

"I have a lot of fun organizing a Halloween party every year. It is one of those days when you get to forget who you are and just dress up and be silly. It is a very good way to break the ice, dressing in a costume and eating and drinking together. I wanted very much for all the members of SOPHIA alpha and the exchange students of CIEE to be able to get together, talk, and generally be able to relate to each other instead of being sequestered amongst themselves and their own circles of friends. There is something to be said for sitting next to someone you dont know in a Gachapin suit and accross from someone you dont know dressed as Alice in Wonderland. I can't think of a funner way to start a conversation. I want to thank everyone who came and doubly thank everyone who dressed up in a costume. It is you who made this party, and ultimately our university life (in the bigger picture), so much fun and so much a success. Thank you."

This was the first event ive helped out with since ive joined Sophia Alpha and truely I had a great time! Some people say that organizing something like this is a long and tiring process and the actually thing goes by in a flash which makes the work and arrangements seem a drag, but when events go sucessfully as the Halloween party did, well those are the times you KNOW its all worth the effort! Thank you soo much to all the people that came and to the Alpha members that helped create such a wonderful event. Even though Halloween is not a familiar event in Japan I think we managed to get some overwhelmed stares from the (normal?) people in Morrigans...dont you? Truth be told for my part, by making all those quizzes I feel like I have had a crash course in werewolfs, witches, and vampires. hehe...Mata Yoroshikune!
We really had lots of FUN!!!
